Sterile liquid culture medium
Sterile liquid culture media is produced in a jar with an injection port and a hydrophobic syringe filter, sterilized at 15PSI for 30 minutes.
Each jar is made with a malt mix and contains a small piece of glass or marble to help break apart the mycelium as it colonizes. You may also choose to add on a stir bar if using a magnetic stir plate.
Choose between half pint or pint size jars for expanding your liquid culture syringes into mother (half pint) or bulk (pint) liquid cultures.
