October Low Tech Mushroom Class: Intro to Mycology
Learn to grow multiple kinds of mushrooms using “open air” inoculations and low tech methods. Methods learned in this class can easily applied at home without much extra equipment and are a great intro for beginners wanting to develop a "brown thumb". You will learn to grow mushrooms using simple pasteurization and open air techniques. You will put together and take home your choice of grow kit of culinary mushroom, therapeutic medicinal, or both!
Class with be held on October 26, 2024 from 2:00-5:00pm at The Corner Boxing Club located at 2901 55th St Boulder, CO 80301. The class includes hands on instruction, a copy of the curriculum, 150ml liquid culture jar, 3lb. of grain spawn, and a grow kit(s) of your choice that you make in class. You will receive 10% off Shroomsquatch grow products and a 20% discount on all Shroomsquatch future education.
You will receive Proposition 122 compliant access to shared culinary and/or therapeutic research cultures depending on the course tract(s) you choose.
